A&Z Mechanical “Nominate a Veteran” Furnace Giveaway
1. Sponsor. A&Z Mechanical, 143 Winters Dr, Colorado Springs, CO 80907.
2. No purchase necessary. No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win. Submitting a nomination does not guarantee a prize.
3. Entry period. October 15, 2026 through 11:59 p.m. MT on November 17, 2026.
4. How to enter. Submit the nomination form at aandzmechanical.com/nominate-a-veteran. Limit one nomination per veteran. A person may nominate more than one veteran.
5. Eligibility. The nominee must be currently serving on active duty, or be a veteran who was discharged or retired from the U.S. military (including the Coast Guard and Reserve [and National Guard]) under honorable conditions; be 18 or older; own and live in their home; and live in El Paso or Teller County, Colorado. The nominator must be 18 or older. Employees of A&Z Mechanical and their households are not eligible.
6. Winner selection. One winner will be selected completely at random from all eligible nominations received by the deadline. The drawing takes place on November 18, 2026. The winner will be contacted by phone and email and has 7 days from notification to respond. If the winner does not respond within 7 days, or is found ineligible, an alternate winner will be drawn at random. Winner announced publicly on November 20, 2026.
7. Prize. One new Champion furnace, professionally installed by A&Z Mechanical. Approximate retail value: up to $6,000. The prize covers the furnace and installation labor only. Any additional costs, including [permits, ductwork or gas line modifications, electrical work, and code corrections], are the responsibility of the homeowner. The winner’s existing system must be compatible with the prize [confirm]. The prize has no cash value, is not transferable, and cannot be substituted. Installation will be scheduled with the winner [within X days].
8. Verification and taxes. Before the prize is awarded, the winner must provide proof of military service (such as a DD-214, VA identification card, or military ID) showing active duty status or a discharge or retirement under honorable conditions, and proof of home ownership. The winner must give A&Z Mechanical access to the home and existing unit for evaluation, permitting, inspection, and installation. The winner is responsible for any taxes on the prize and may be asked to complete tax paperwork.
9. Publicity. The winner agrees to let A&Z Mechanical take and use photos and video of the installation, and, with the winner’s permission, the winner’s name and story, in any media for marketing and promotional purposes, with no further compensation.
10. Thank-you coupons. Each person who submits a nomination will receive a $50 coupon by email after the giveaway ends. Each nominated veteran who is not selected will receive a $75 coupon by email after the giveaway ends. Coupons apply to a single job valued at $200 or more and are valid for 6 months after the contest end date May 18, 2026. The contest end date is the date the winner is confirmed or the 7-day response period ends, whichever comes first. Coupons are one per person, have no cash value, and cannot be combined with other discounts, or can be combined with the Military Discount.
11. Privacy. Information submitted, including the nominee’s veteran status, is used only to run this promotion and send the follow-up coupons. It is not sold. To request access or deletion, contact [email protected].
12. General. Not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram, Meta, TikTok, or the U.S. military or any government agency. Void where prohibited. A&Z Mechanical may modify or cancel the giveaway if it cannot be run as planned. Entrants release A&Z Mechanical from liability related to the giveaway to the extent permitted by law.
